Our quarterly overhead crane inspections range between $650 – $1,250,

Standard Rates (per technician)
• Inspection Rate: $155 per hour
• Service & Repair Rate: $165 per hour ($155 per hour for 2026)
Inspection & Service Guidelines
• Quarterly inspections typically require 30 minutes to 2 hours per crane
• Larger span or more complex systems may require 2+ hours per crane
• Troubleshooting & diagnostics typically require 4 to 8 hours, depending on issue complexity
Inspection and service duration may increase due to:
• Site access requirements (badging, safety orientation, escorted access)
• Restricted environments (clean rooms or limited access areas)
• Waiting time exceeding 15 minutes
Labor & Billing Terms
• All work is billed portal-to-portal
• 4-hour minimum per technician
• Billable time includes: Time on-site (excluding lunch), travel time to & from the job site
• Heavy component work may require multiple technicians
Travel & Additional Costs
• Fuel & Travel Expenses: Cost + 15%
• Per Diem (overnight travel): $86/day (pass-through, no markup)
Materials & Equipment
• Materials, equipment, and test weights: Cost + 25%
• Tooling Charge: $150 per day per crew (applies to demolition, installation, or site welding; covers crews up to 5 personnel)

Turn-Key Overhead Crane Budget Pricing (ROM)

The following Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing provides general budget guidance for new crane systems. Pricing includes PE stamped drawings & calculations, submittal, project management, manufacturing, installation, equipment/tools, startup, load test with test weights, local freight, and applicable sales tax. Final pricing may vary based on site conditions, options, features, dimensions, permitting, project requirements, demo, building modifications, insurance and bond requirements.

Typical Turn-Key Budget Ranges
• $110,00 - $220,000+ 2 Ton Workstation Crane, 25ft width x 40ft runway, 15ft OAH, installed on an existing concrete slab.
• $125,000 - $250,000+ 5 Ton Top Running Single Girder (TRSG) Crane, 40ft span, standard features, installed on existing runway.
• $400,000 - $700,000+ 5 Ton Underhung Single Girder (UHSG) Crane with Free-Standing Runway, 40ft width, 75ft runway length, 16ft OAH, installed on an existing concrete slab.
• $650,000 - $850,000+ 10 Ton Top Running Single Girder (TRSG) Crane with Free-Standing Runway, 50ft span, 150ft runway length, 18ft OAH, including new footings.
